ESNNA Code of Conduct
Pursuant to Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has established a policy against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA). To support this policy, the ESNNA code and Inca World have entered into a joint action agreement to prevent and eradicate this issue. Accordingly, we declare that:
– We reject the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Peru and worldwide, particularly in its form associated with travel and tourism, as it harms the fundamental rights of individuals and contradicts the intrinsic objectives of tourism activities in our country.
– We denounce and condemn those who use tourism activities, facilities, and services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate the occurrence of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. In light of the above:
Inca World subscribes to this Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Tourism.
This Code is a formal declaration of voluntary adherence aimed at establishing rules of conduct for all individuals working at Inca World to protect children and adolescents from all forms of sexual exploitation and human trafficking associated with travel and tourism.
Additionally, to take necessary measures to protect children and adolescents from sexual exploitation, we commit to the following:
– Maintain an ethical policy of rejecting the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the context of travel and tourism.
– Inform and train staff on the company’s policy regarding the prevention of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism.
– Display visible symbols that alert clients and suppliers of our stance against the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism.
– Include a clause in contracts with tourism service providers declaring the mutual rejection of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. The following paragraph will be used:
“Tourism promotes a childhood and adolescence free from sexual exploitation; therefore, we do not accept any acts that favor the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.”
