Upon arrival, meet your guide for an afternoon tour of Machu Picchu, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world. Your guide will take you through the key areas of the ancient city.

For those seeking a bit more adventure, an optional hike to Huayna Picchu Mountain is available. This challenging yet rewarding trek offers unparalleled panoramic views of Machu Picchu from above. The hike takes about 2 to 3 hours round-trip and includes steep climbs, but the stunning vistas make it well worth the effort.
After your hike, head back down to Aguas Calientes for a quick lunch (not included) before catching your train. Board the train from Aguas Calientes to Poroy, the nearest train station to Cusco, once you arrive in Poroy, you will board a private vehicle for the final leg of your journey to Cusco. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes.
Note: On this day, if you are not visiting Machu Picchu for a second time or hiking Huayna Picchu Mountain, we will head directly back to Poroy and then on to Cusco.
